The European Commission recently published a booklet which briefly presents 12 good practices illustrating the success factors and the added value of cross-border cooperation in the health sector. The publication can be read and downloaded here.  

The call for the yearly European Commission award for the best and most innovative EU-funded projects in regional development is now open until the 9th of May. The REGIOSTARS are awarded to projects in five thematic categories (smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, urban development and a topic of the year).

Thus projects in the following 5 categories can be submitted:  

On 29 January 2019 the European Parliament, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions adopted the 2nd report on the implementation of the EU macro-regional strategies. The report's goal is to provide a detailed analysis on the EU macro-regional strategies: the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR), the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR), the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) and the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP).

Interact has launched a new online training platform in order to enhance its knowledge delivery and your learning experiences within the Interreg community, by enabling you to learn and engage in the virtual environment. All courses are tailor made for the learning needs of the Interreg community and those who are closely linked to it, even though they might not be directly involved. Interact brings together expertise from all over Europe and from different types of stakeholders. Course authors and other course contributors share their experience and expertise through videos, articles, quizzes and discussions. 

Want to get involved with Hungarian and European youth policy and ensure that voices of young people are heard? The Structured Dialogue on Youth is a process enabling young people to be involved in the shaping of policies that affect them, through continuous cooperation among youth representatives and decision-makers. The National Youth  Council of Hungary is looking for two young candidates who will represent Hungary in this process of the 7th cycle of the Youth Dialogue. The Youth Delegates will represent the Hungarian young people at the local and European Youth conferences and raise awareness of the Structured Dialogue. The term is 18 months and runs from January 1st 2019 to June 30th 2020. 

Young people are the leaders of the future, yet they account for the largest share of non-voters. Ensure that the youth takes part in defining the future of Europe and join the Young Europe Youth Summit together with 200 other young people in Denmark this Spring, where you all meet to analyse, discuss and join forces around five of the key issues that concern youth in Europe: Culture & Identity, Climate, Refugees & Migration, the European Union & the World and Youth Under Pressure.

At the 7th EUSDR Annual Forum in Sofia, a Story Map has been launched by the European Commission's Joint Reasearch Institute. The map shows the Eu funded projects, focusing on tourism, culture, bike routes etc. People can virtually wander along the Danube river, while gather information about different topics. It shows the beauty and potential of the region, while provides a leraning opportunity about cultural and natural heritage. You can find the Story Map here.
